Run to Julian Bamboo Mat Sign

Friday, October 15

Two opportunities:

8:00 a.m. to noon

or

1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Starting from Stage A on Tecolote Road.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

Julian is one of San Diego's most historic landmarks. Just an hour east of Surf'N'Safari headquarters at the Pala Mesa Resort, we will take some of the area's Miata-tested roads to climb into the Cuyamaca mountains where we will find the old gold-mining town of Julian.

Known for its "step back in time" nature and apple pie, Julian is the perfect spot to spend a little time and get a picture of what the west was like in the 1870s. Julian will be celebrating its Apple Days while we are visiting. How about some pie?
